Only thought id make a quick tutorial for those who dont want to get-go from scratch on their switch. Havent found ane anywhere else for the game.

Requirements

-power to launch homebrew
-Checkpoint(homebrew app)
-a calculator

Steps

i.Backup your game if you lot have one using Checkpoint and salvage information technology somewhere on your PC(just incase).

2.Download a save file or use your own.

three.Find the abp_persistentgamedata(1,2, or three).dat file depending on what slot yous want the save on/for.

iv.Rename the file to adp_gamedata(ane,ii, or 3).dat

five.Find the folder in Checkpoints binder that holds your binding of isaac save that you backed upward to your pc.

half-dozen.Delete the adp_gamedata(1,2, or iii).dat depending on the salve slot you wanted/are willing to supervene upon. The i thats on your SD card not the PC one.

vii.Re-create the renamed salve file you downloaded earlier to your SD card In place of the file you lot deleted in the last step.

8.Use Checkpoint to restore your newly edited save.

ix.Enjoy the game from where you left off.

Thanks for the tutorial but for some reason it's not working for me. I tried with all iii slots and tried with both checkpoint and EdiZon and none works. I'thousand non sure if this is too much simply I can't seem to find an 100% save file for the switch version of Isaac and wanted to know if maybe I could infringe your savefile bold it's complete or at least close to complete. Is that something y'all could do for me? I know this might be a long shot but I'm non certain what else to practise since I really can't find whatsoever file online and really don't desire to kickoff the game from scratch. Thank you anyways for the tutorial and if you could help me out it would exist nifty!

Certain give me till tomorow ill upload a relieve. also for future notice the saves for the switch version dont actually exist online anywhere for some reason. Just the saves for afterbirth plus work beyond all systems since they share a similar setup you just take to rename them for the switch.

btw the version i'll upload volition just have all items (technically) unlocked they dont show up in the particular volume across what ive actually used and all modes unlocked still the accomplishments will merely exist what ive done and then far. sorta simply wanted the items and game modes so i didnt edit much else in the salvage probably could but it was a pain to effigy out as is then ill exit that to the more serious and skilled game modder.

technically its but renaming the other files in the pc BOI AB+ to there corresponding switch version of the same files but alot of them share similar names or are different all together so itd be alot of plow on switch, reload save with checkpoint, try game and repeat for each of the 12 files to go full 100% in the game but im lazy and just wanted the items and game modes. If someone wants to make a PC to switch save converter itd basically just be a proper name changer for the files and if someone else wanted to go through the cycle to find the names(pc-->switch)you lot tin post information technology on this thread for that nice person to use so that a save converter could be easily exist made past that person for the Isaac Switch community who would be eternally grateful.

I'll repent alee of time to the modernistic for double posting but i thought it might be all-time to have a new post then that this shows up on the primary screen for those who need the data. Simply uploaded the save file to the salvage downloads area in the gbatemp forum for the switch it was fabricated with checkpoint so for a loftier success rate use that and permit me know if anything goes incorrect.

Dude thanks a lot!!! I actually appreciate it! I'll give it a effort when I get home. I accept put so many hours on this game in the pc version that starting from scratch was driving me insane, I don't listen items not showing up on the stats but I just wanted to exist able to do some eden streaks with every detail available

How-do-you-do, I have the rebirth version (without arfterbirth and +) on the PC. Is it possible to convert my salve to play it on switch ? I attempt to practice the tutorilal simply they say my save is corrupted

That works to Repetance. Took my savefile from steam, difference on step iv rename to rep_gamedata(i, 2, 3).dat. Distressing for bad english i'one thousand russian.

Yeah works fine with rep likewise. Modding the graphics works fine notwithstanding besides thankfully. Too bad even so no lua.
